Terms of service

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Welcome to Torque Haus.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules that apply when you access our website, create an account, purchase products or otherwise use services provided by Torque Haus.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order.

By accessing our website or placing an order with Torque Haus, you agree to these Terms where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About Torque Haus

This website is operated by:

Torque Haus
Website: [https://torque-haus.co.uk]
Email: [torquehausclothing@gmail.com]
Business address: [26 Chestnut Garth, Hemingbrough]

Throughout these Terms, “Torque Haus”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the Torque Haus website.

“You” and “your” refer to the person using our website or purchasing from us.

2. Using Our Website

You may use the Torque Haus website for lawful personal or business purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or customer information

  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material

  • Interfere with the security or operation of the website

  • Attempt to scrape, copy or extract website content using automated means without permission

  • Misuse our branding, photographs, designs or other intellectual property

  • Use our website in a way that could damage Torque Haus or prevent others from using it

We may take reasonable action to protect our website, customers and systems where misuse is identified.

3. Products

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible.

Product information may include:

  • Photographs

  • Descriptions

  • Measurements

  • Colours

  • Specifications

  • Materials

  • Compatibility information

  • Care instructions

  • Other relevant product details

While we take reasonable care to ensure this information is accurate, photographs and screen displays may cause colours or finishes to appear slightly different from the physical product.

Any material differences will be communicated where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of UK consumer law.

4. Vehicle Compatibility

Where a product is intended for a particular vehicle, model, specification or application, compatibility information may be provided on the product page.

Customers should check compatibility information carefully before ordering.

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us before placing your order.

Where Torque Haus has expressly confirmed that a product is suitable for a particular stated purpose or vehicle and you rely on that information, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve that product.

Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.

If we are unable to supply a product you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where payment has already been taken for an item that we cannot supply, the appropriate amount will be refunded.

6. Prices

Product prices will be displayed on our website.

We aim to ensure that prices are accurate and clearly presented.

Any applicable delivery charges or other unavoidable charges will be displayed or calculated before you complete your order.

If Torque Haus becomes VAT registered, prices will be presented in accordance with applicable VAT requirements.

We may change prices from time to time, but price changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.

7. Pricing Errors

Despite taking reasonable care, a product may occasionally be displayed with an incorrect price.

If we identify an obvious pricing error before your order has been accepted or dispatched, we will contact you.

You may be given the option to:

  • Continue with the order at the correct price; or

  • Cancel the affected item or order

We will not knowingly attempt to enforce an obviously incorrect price.

If payment has already been taken and the order is cancelled because of an identified pricing error, the relevant payment will be refunded.

8. Placing an Order

Before submitting an order, you will have the opportunity to review the information you have provided and correct errors where the checkout system allows.

You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted during checkout is accurate.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

You will receive an electronic confirmation after placing your order.

An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order.

Where appropriate, acceptance of your order will occur when we confirm that the order has been accepted or dispatch the goods.

9. When We May Be Unable to Accept an Order

There may be circumstances where we are unable to accept or fulfil an order.

Examples may include:

  • A product being unavailable

  • An obvious pricing or product information error

  • Payment being declined or failing

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

  • Delivery being unavailable to the address provided

  • A product being subject to a legal or courier restriction

  • We are unable to verify information reasonably required to fulfil the order

Where possible, we will explain the situation and refund any payment received for goods we cannot supply.

10. Payment

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.

Payment processing may be provided through Shopify and third-party payment providers.

By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

Your payment provider may carry out security, fraud prevention or verification checks.

Torque Haus does not ordinarily receive or store your complete payment card information.

11. Shopify and Shop

Our ecommerce website is powered by Shopify.

Customers may also be able to interact with Torque Haus through Shopify services such as Shop, depending on availability and the customer's settings.

Your use of separate Shopify or Shop services may also be governed by Shopify's own terms and privacy information.

Torque Haus remains responsible for its own obligations to customers when you purchase goods directly from us.

12. Discount Codes and Promotions

Torque Haus may occasionally offer:

  • Discount codes

  • Promotional prices

  • Free delivery promotions

  • Bundles

  • Competitions

  • Limited-time offers

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash

  • A discount code may only be used during its stated validity period

  • Additional conditions may apply to individual promotions

  • Discounts may not always be combined

  • A code may be limited to specific products, customers or order values

Any important conditions will be communicated as part of the promotion.

We reserve the right to refuse the fraudulent or unauthorised use of a promotional code.

Nothing in a promotion affects your statutory consumer rights.

13. Made-to-Order and Personalised Products

Some Torque Haus products may be:

  • Made to order

  • Customised

  • Personalised

  • Produced to your individual specification

These products may have longer processing times.

Any relevant lead time will be shown or communicated where appropriate.

Please check any information, measurements, wording, colours, vehicle details or other customisation submitted with your order carefully.

Your statutory cancellation rights may not apply to products that have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

This exclusion does not apply where the product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights.

Further information is available in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

14. Pre-Orders

Torque Haus may occasionally offer products for pre-order.

Where a product is being sold as a pre-order, we will make this clear and provide an estimated availability or dispatch period where possible.

Estimated dates may occasionally change because of manufacturing, supplier or logistical circumstances.

If a significant change affects your pre-order, we will communicate this where reasonably possible and your statutory rights will remain unaffected.

15. Delivery

Delivery options, prices and estimated times will be displayed where applicable during checkout.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, goods will generally be delivered without undue delay and within the period required by UK consumer law.

Further information about:

  • Processing times

  • Couriers

  • Tracking

  • Delivery delays

  • Incorrect addresses

  • Lost parcels

  • Damaged deliveries

is available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

16. Responsibility for Delivery

Where Torque Haus arranges delivery to a consumer, responsibility for the goods generally remains with us until they come into the physical possession of:

  • You; or

  • A person you have identified to receive them

Different rules may apply where you independently arrange for a carrier that was not offered by Torque Haus.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

17. Cancellation Rights

Consumers purchasing online will generally have a statutory right to cancel eligible purchases.

For most eligible goods, you normally have 14 days after receiving the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel.

You will then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Certain products may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights, including products made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Full information about cancelling and returning an order is provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

18. Returns and Refunds

Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms and explains how we handle:

  • Change-of-mind returns

  • Refunds

  • Exchanges

  • Faulty products

  • Damaged products

  • Incorrect items

  • Personalised products

  • Return postage

Nothing in our Returns & Refunds Policy or these Terms restricts your statutory consumer rights.

19. Faulty Goods

Products supplied by Torque Haus must meet the standards required by UK consumer law.

This includes requirements that goods are:

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for their intended purpose

  • As described

Depending on the circumstances, consumers may have rights including:

  • Rejection and refund

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Price reduction

  • Final right to reject

The applicable remedy will depend on the circumstances and relevant consumer law.

Please contact us if you believe a product is faulty.

20. Customer Accounts

Customers may have the option to create or use an account in connection with the Torque Haus store.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information.

You should contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We may reasonably restrict access to an account where necessary to protect:

  • The customer

  • Torque Haus

  • Other users

  • Our systems

21. Reviews and Customer Content

You may have opportunities to submit content such as:

  • Product reviews

  • Photographs

  • Comments

  • Feedback

  • Testimonials

Content you submit must not:

  • Be knowingly false or misleading

  • Infringe another person's intellectual property rights

  • Contain unlawful material

  • Be threatening, abusive or discriminatory

  • Contain malicious software

  • Impersonate another person

  • Contain another person's private information without permission

Where permitted by law, we may moderate or remove content that breaches these requirements.

Submitting a review does not remove any rights you have in your original content.

Any use of customer-created content by Torque Haus for wider marketing purposes will be handled appropriately and, where required, with permission.

22. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Torque Haus website belongs to Torque Haus or is used with appropriate permission.

This may include:

  • The Torque Haus name

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Product names

  • Product designs

  • Graphics

  • Photographs

  • Videos

  • Website copy

  • Artwork

  • Marketing materials

  • Website layout and original creative content

You may access this content for normal personal use of the website.

You must not reproduce, commercially exploit, distribute, alter or use our intellectual property without permission unless permitted by law.

23. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Vehicle manufacturers, marques, product manufacturers and other brands referred to on our website may own their respective:

  • Names

  • Logos

  • Trademarks

  • Designs

  • Other intellectual property

Unless expressly stated, reference to another brand or vehicle manufacturer does not necessarily mean that Torque Haus is affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by that organisation.

24. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may contain links to websites, social media platforms or services operated by third parties.

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Torque Haus is not responsible for the independent content or operation of third-party services outside our control.

This does not limit any responsibility that we cannot lawfully exclude.

25. Website Availability

We aim to keep the Torque Haus website available and operating correctly.

However, access may occasionally be interrupted because of:

  • Maintenance

  • Updates

  • Technical problems

  • Hosting issues

  • Security incidents

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

We do not guarantee that the website will be continuously available without interruption.

This does not affect any existing contractual or statutory rights relating to an order.

26. Changes to Products and Website Content

We may update our website and product ranges from time to time.

This may include changes to:

  • Product availability

  • Product specifications

  • Website functionality

  • Prices

  • Images

  • Descriptions

  • Promotions

Changes will not remove rights that you already have under an existing contract or UK consumer law.

27. Our Responsibility to You

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, we do not exclude or limit liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Breach of applicable statutory consumer rights

  • Faulty or misdescribed goods where liability cannot legally be excluded

If you are purchasing as a consumer, these Terms do not affect rights provided to you by law.

28. Consumer Use

Products purchased by consumers are generally supplied for private and domestic use unless the nature of the product or transaction indicates otherwise.

We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer where those losses were not reasonably foreseeable and did not arise from our breach of these Terms.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

29. Business Customers

If you purchase products wholly or mainly for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession, you may be considered a business customer rather than a consumer.

Different legal rights may apply to business transactions.

Where specific business-to-business terms are required for a particular transaction, we may provide separate terms.

30. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Sometimes we may be prevented or delayed from fulfilling an obligation because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Examples may include:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Transport disruption

  • Industrial action

  • Major courier disruption

  • Government restrictions

  • Failure of essential telecommunications or infrastructure

  • Significant supplier disruption

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of such circumstances and communicate significant impacts where appropriate.

Your statutory rights will continue to apply.

31. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.

By using the Torque Haus website, personal information may be processed in accordance with that policy and applicable data protection law.

32. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Our Cookie Policy provides further information about:

  • Essential cookies

  • Analytics

  • Marketing technologies

  • Cookie preferences

  • Your choices

Where consent is legally required, we will request it before using relevant non-essential technologies.

33. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time where reasonably necessary, including because of:

  • Changes to our business

  • Changes to our website

  • New products or services

  • Changes to technology

  • Changes to applicable law or regulation

The current version will be published on this page with its latest update date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove contractual or statutory rights relating to orders already placed.

34. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid

If a court or competent authority determines that part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

35. No Waiver

If Torque Haus does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not necessarily mean that the right has been waived.

Likewise, if we allow additional time to meet an obligation, other obligations under these Terms continue to apply.

36. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections provided by the law where you live and may have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
